- Virus/Spyware removal

If your computer is running slow, giving you problems and
you have an Internet connection, you probably have a virus or spyware. If we need to purchase anti-virus or
security software for your computer, those costs will be added to your
invoice.
 Windows computers take two to three hours to clean.
Though our fee is $125 per hour, we will charge either $250 or the
hourly rate, whichever is less.
Macintosh computers have few problems with
viruses and spyware. If you have a Mac and have a problem, it probably
lies elsewhere.
If your antivirus recognition signatures are not up to date, check
the manufacturer's website for the latest version. If your anti-virus
subscription has expired, we can help you renew it and keep you current.
- Computer Degunking

We clean out the detritus left behind by
deleted programs, system crashes other problems that may be making your
computing experience suboptimal. As always, our fee is $125 per hour. A
basic degunking takes about two hours. If it runs over, the fee is
capped at $250.
- Networking

 If you have multiple computers, multiple printers and multiple
Internet connections, you are wasting money. Let us set up your network
so you can make better use of your resources. We work with wired and
wireless networks, high-speed cable or DSL connections, AOL, dialup or
whatever else you may need. if we need an electrician to pull electrical
lines or network cables, we can use your electrician or recommend one.

- Installations

We install your new computers, ensuring that everything is
properly connected, that the software is properly registered and your
peripherals all work. If you have an internet connection, we'll
configure that. This process takes about two hours, and costs $200. If
you need to move files from your old computer, there will be additional
charges.

- Data recovery/backup

 We
know your data is important, often far more valuable than the
computer itself. When you're having a meltdown, give us a call. We can
handle most recoveries in house and have partnered with Kroll OnTrack
for those very special cases.

- Purchase decisions

When it comes time to buy a new computer,
talk to us. We
can help keep your costs in line, making recommendations tailored to
your requirements. We don't build computers, but can recommend brands, models and
configurations that can save you money.
