That&rsquo;s fine for the day-to-day applications you run all the time, but what about the programs you use once a blue moon? 

...If it says Intel, Intel 64-bit or Universal, the app will work with Lion and the soon-to-be-released Mountain Lion.

It is not a free upgrade -- it will cost $15 -- but it will allow you to keep the full functionality of Quicken Mac 2007 instead of having to use Quicken Essentials.

...If you&rsquo;re running XP and do not have Service Pack 3 installed, or if you&rsquo;re running Vista and do not have Service Pack 2 installed, then you are no longer getting security or reliability updates from Microsoft and your computer is at risk. 

...Apple has quit stocking many parts for machines based on the PowerPC chips and is cut off most support for versions of OS X prior to Leopard.
